This week we moved from Ellerslie, GA to Jacksonville, AL. The good news for my customers in Georgia is that I’ll be traveling back to the area once or twice a month. This means I can pick up and drop off your quilts just like I was local. The next challenge will be to find new customers in the Jacksonville, AL area. There’s always my online customers to help keep me busy when they mail in their quilt tops for me to quilt up, but I’ll be scouring the area looking for fabric stores and quilting guilds to join! I love my new quilting space! So much wonderful light…and the wood floors I’ve always dreamed of! I may not get to quilting as fast as I used to because I also have a new pool to play in!! Well, at least quilting may be a little slower in the Summer, in the Winter you’ll probably find me in the hot tub! LOL! This view is from our back porch. It looks out to where my daughter will live while she attends Jacksonville State University. It will also be where I take my quilt pictures. Love that front porch look!
After settling in I can’t wait to explore the area, find old friends from when we lived near here, and make new ones! More quilting pictures will be coming soon as I have 3 quilts in my queue to get finished! Until then…sew long!
